hard drive partition

hey i have a hard drive partition on my hdd and one of them is 2gb and
this is being used as a pimary drivedoes anybody know how to get rid
of the partition soits just one hard drive??

any help is appreciated

I expect that is the recovery partition, for use when you need to
restore your machine to factory settings. Consult your user manual
before you do ANYTHING to it.

hey i dont have a manual it was a custom built machine and it was free
i have only just got it and im not interested in any of the files on
it as i have all the softawere/os on disk so all i want to do is
format the hdd so it is just one and there is no partition

Well if you are going to format the HDD then just do the re-installation
of windows - you will be given the opportunity to delete all partitions
and re-create one large one during the install...

If you don't want to fully reinstall, you can resize, delete, and
otherwise manipulate partitions in partition manager programs. These
usually boot from CD, and you can delete your 2gb partition, and
extend your other partition so use that space. (My favorite program
for doing so it paragon partition manager) These programs are often
found on utility/boot CDs.

You have posted this several times. Here are a few tips. Don't post a new
message as a reply to another thread even if the topic seems similar.
Create a new thread of your own. Post only one message. It can take 24-48
