hard drive format XP

I am using XP and have fitted a slave hard drive which I can see thru
Administrative Tools|Computer Management|Disk Management which shows at 25GB
partition (NTFS format) but also a 50GB partition (shown as Free Space)
which I need to format. How do I format that partition?

Use Disk Management to initialize and format the partition and give it a
drive letter...
