ok so i gat a laptop for cristmas, when i got it it had a 100Gb harddrive.
yes i know big, but now it says i have a 93.13 GB harddive as the
"Capacity". which i know is not true cause it started out as a 100 GB hade
Drive. So the question is, what went wrong, why, but most importantly; how di
i fix it iwthout having to erase all my information saved on my harddrive. As
in a destructive re-partioning, or re-sizing of the mount-partion.

There's nothing wrong with your drive. Take a look here for
more info:

Why is my drive displaying a smaller than expected
capacity than the indicated size on the drive label?
