Hard Disk sounds

Greetings All,

Have an 8GB Maxtor which was reassigned from Master drive to
Slave drive some time ago.

Recently, this 8GB Maxtor clicks/ticks rhythmically for up to
10 seconds from time to time as my computer is powered up.

Is this a potential problem? Disk scans all show data integrity
OK in all partitions on the 8GB Maxtor.
