hard disk problem

after installing windows xp my 20GB hard is shown as
2GB. I tried to format the hard disk several times but I
was not succesfull
 
You can't format your hard drive within Windows. Format the drive with
the WinXP CD. Just set the cdrom as first
boot device in Bios.
