Hard Disk Bad Block - Windows XP

Numero Uno

Hi,

In the Event Viewer, it shows me

Event ID: 7
The device, \Device\Harddisk1\D, has a bad block. I am unable to access this
drive.

If I click my hard disk, I get the message that "The disk in drive X is not
formatted. Do you want to format now?".
If I right click the disk and check properties it says file system: RAW with
0 bytes used and 0 bytes free space.

Please advice what should I do? I am using Windows XP

Thanks

The disk is bad - check the manufacture date to see if it is in warranty -
usually 3 years for the better HDs.
