I constantly have a problem with text formatting in tables where the ruler
shows no indents, yet I get a hanging indent applied (first line flush left
with the cell boundary, succeeding lines indented). I've seen this on
several computers with PP2002.
Moving the ruler margin settings don't fix the problem. The top half of the
margin slider on the ruler will move the indent on the first line OK. The
bottom half of the margin slider on the ruler has absolutely no effect on
lines after the first line.
The problem is random. If I type text into a table cell, sometimes the ruler
works as it should. The problem seems to come up if I paste text in from
Word. Once I've corrupted a table with pasted text from Word, the entire
table is shot.
Have others seen this? Is there a fix?
Thanks for any help.
