Hang ups internet explorer 6

Explorer hangs up almost every time i use my system. I have removed add ons
such as e-Bay and google tool bars. I have taken the latest toolbar for BT
Yahoo but still it hangs. The reported fault seems to surround 1explore.exe
files.

I keep running my adware software and virus scan and have bought two
registry cleaners one of which revealed 166 errors, but to no avail. Any
help?

Hi Doug,
Reigstry Cleaner do more damage than good, you shouldn't bought them in the
first place!.
Try to Uninstall and Reinstall IE may that will Repair the Core
files/folders for the Application, to do that read this article;
