Halo Update

I am trying to get updates from the server to play halo on line on my windows
xp machine but when i attempt to do so i get an error message saying that
there is a file access problem and need to be logged onto windows with admin
rights _ but i am

went to the web site and follwed the instructions for downloading the
patches but the same thing happened.

Hi Max,

Sounds like something has become corrupt either in your profile or in the
permissions on your system. If you installed Halo for "All users" let's try to
install the update using a fresh *new* administrator's account.
