Half Life OpForce: has anyone it to work with XP?

M

I know it's futile, but I've been told it's possible to get Opposing Force
to work with Win XP. Anyone had any luck?

I've patched, updated, changed compatability settings, tweaked graphics
settings, you name it. I've had 2 XP systems and it works on neither.

Anyone with any ideas, I'd love it if you'd email me! (remove DEL in email
address)

I do not know what could be your problem. I got mine to work on my XP Pro
system, striaght out of the box, no Compatibility mode needed.

Opossing Force is a add-on to Half-Life. If Half-Life is working, then O.F.
should be working.

When does it crash? Mine works but it used to crash before I updated it, on the intro cut-scene. Have you thought of Steam - if not download it and it will search + update OppFor

Hi...
Here's where you can get steam clients from...
You can choose between specific games or the complete steam client, you only
need a cd-key for OpForce and Half-Life. Recommended is a Hotmail-account
you need to sign up, and it's free to download... I use it myself and it's
one of the best game-client around...
