DELTAsnake

I have a raid 0 setup as my boot partition. After the
format of the hard drives and copying of setup files the
system reboots as normal. But after the post screen I
recive an error saying that the hal.dll file is
corrupted. I have tryed XP Home, Pro and a friends copy
of Corperate and all give the same error. My motherboard
has two Raid controlers, I've tryed both and I get the
same error on both.

Motherboard: GA-8KNXP Rev2
Chipset: Intel 875p
Raid controlers: Raid controler built into 875p and Sil
Image 3112
Hard drives: 2x Seagate Barracuda 80gb SATA.

Thank you for any help.

You need to install xp cd,boot to cd,as it loads you'll see, prees F6 to install
raid or scsi drivers, then have drivers on a floppy to install. You'll also need to
configure in BIOS.TechNet at microsoft has great info on Raid 0 set-up,try search.
