Recent installed xp home and started to use ETRUST as my anti virus
proctection.. Safe mode and NormaI mode scanning shows nothing but my pc
behave strangely. I then scan with NAV2006 (as a secondary drive) and reveal
that
...........\system volume\...........A00323OQ is infected with HackTool.
Root Kit and access denied. Just turned off the System Restore and my
question is will ETRUST be able to detect and cleared Hacktool?
What other program should I install in this infected drive to prevent attack
by Hacktool. Besides ETRUST, I have spybot 1.4 and XP SP2 is fully updated in
this drive. Or perhaps I should have have just restrore to the day when I
first installed the XP and that should get rid of the Hacktool. Can someone
confirm that? Thanks
