PLEASE HELP ME. I need to know how I can vote again for my favorite singer
on a web site. I tried deleting cookies, temporary Internet files, but when
I enter the site again to leave my vote, it tells me I already did.
Please help me, there must be a way how to do this.
Using Windows XP SP2
TIA

Hi

You won't be able to vote again. When you login with your username/password
a note of those is made on the web site's server. If you do want to vote
again, you will have to login with a different username/password.

Hi Will Denny
Do you mean change the user name /password for IE or Windows Logon?
Thanks

These voting programs normally store your IP address in a database,
restricting your ability to vote more than once.

Hi Tom
I tried to delete cookies and temporary Internet files from an old Windows
98 PC and it worked. I was able to vote 4 times. But I can't do it from my
laptop that has Windows XP. Weird?

Isn't that sort of like cheating? <grin>

I agree with Cliff, except I would say it's definitely cheating. I would
have been embarassed to ask such a question in the first place.
