Guidelines in word

Is there any way to view margins/guidelines (like a sheet of paper has)?

For the margins, go to Tools > Options > View and check the box for "Text
boundaries".

For guidelines, display the Drawing toolbar, click the Draw button at the
left, click Grid, and check the box for "Display gridlines on screen". You
may want to uncheck the box for "Vertical" to show only the horizontal
lines.

None of these lines print. If you want to print them, use borders on a
table.

This might work for you, go to the view command on the
menu bar and then select page view with a zoom around 75%.
