Guide line scale

How do I alter the guide line scale to help positon items. When I put the
guide on I only have 1 vertical and 1 horizontal line. I thought I could
have a screen full of 1cm boxes for example to aid lining up items.

Any help would be brilliant.

Reece,

The 1 cm boxes can be set via the "Grid" setting. As for guides, you can
have multiples by dragging one, whilst holding the <Control> key. That will
duplicate them. To get rid of multiples, drag one off the edge of the slide.
Hope that helps.

There are grids and there are guides. When you turn Guides on you get two, but
you can clone them and get 8 verticals and 8 horizontals. Just hold down Ctrl
and drag the line to propagate it.

For Grids you go to View > Grids and Guides and set a spacing of 1/24" to 2" and
check "Display grid on screen.
