guestbook help

How do I have a preview of the guestbook, without showing all of the
results.....

Basically, I am trying to ahve a table on the index page, that shows the
last 4 entries and not the whole guestbook....

I am using this line:

Not possible with the FP guest book component. You will need a 3rd Party database driven guest book
application.
