Guest - File assocations

How do I change file assocations for Guest?

My wife has gotten into the habit of using the guest account & now has a
bunch of data files and emails under Guest. I've just learned that she
can't open pdf files and jpg files from her email, or anywhere else, and I
cannot seem to associate files with the existing Acrobat Reader or photo
viewer. I cannot change any file associations, not just these.

Outside of movng a bunch of files to a new user account, what options do I
have?

Create an account for her, then copy the data from the guest account to it.

Note that one step not listed in the article is that after creating the
destination profile you must log into it once first to create the necessary
file structure before you do the copy procedure.
