my son recieved a game as a gift i installed it but it won't open says it cant open avi file needs a video decompressor maybe indeo 5.0 what is it and where do i get it

To obtain and install the Indeo Codec select the
"327979: Recommended Update" from the Windows
Update Web site: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
