(If I am posting this to the wrong newgroup, please advise

ERP system requires use of an older version of the
gswdll32.dll file in a folder other than system32. In the
past, this newer version of the .dll file was renamed in
the system32 folder and the older version of the .dll was
put in the proper proprietary folder.
We upgraded the OS to Windows XP and discovered that
the .dll file keeps being recreated in the system32 folder
during the boot process. We have even tried renaming the
gsw32.exe file to prevent this occuring but during the
boot process both files (.dll, .exe) are recreated in the
system32 folder.
We have not added anything new to this system that wasn't
being run prior to the upgrade. The version we need to
use is 5.50.0.0 dated 1/19/1999.
How can I prevent this .dll file from being restored after
a reboot?
