On 9-16 at 3:35 P.M. CDT I posted "SpyBot Results" and you were kind enough
to answer. I thought the results I was getting related to Security and
Privacy settings. But I changed the settings and it didn't change the
registry entries that Spybot was showing. On the strength of your
experience, I had Spybot delete the entries. Everything seems O.K. At least
I haven't found any problems. I posted back yesterday evening to thank you,
but the post didn't show up. I just wanted to say thanks for your input.

(I appreciate the 'thanks' btw, although/because it isn't normal
practice around here .. someone posts a problem, Yo/I post a
suggestions, never hear any more one way or the other. Really weird -
the average thread length here is like 3 messages!).

Apart from the boring rant wars at 133 posts.

It is nice to get confirmation of a fix working, especially when it was
made as a suggestion rather than something that clearly was known for
sure as the answer. But I think we can do without extended thanks -

I totally disagree. Just as we want to know it worked and they took the
time to let us know, it is only common courtesy to reply in kind.
