Growth Curves

If I have 3 quarters of data and have a target number 7
quarters out, is there a function that will fit future
quarterly data on a straight line, log scale or
traditional growth curve (growing faster early on and then
flattening out)? I have tried to use the fill handle but
it just projects a trend and does not project growth to a
desired end point.

TIA

Hi
the way i would tackle this:
- depending on your requirements several growth formulas exist (just
search Google for this)
- use one of these formulas to create your values
- graph these values

AFAIK no build-in functionality exists. You have to create your own
helper column with these values
