Grow/Shrink Annimation Question

K

Keith D

I'm trying to make an icon size graphic (3% of original
size) zoom up to full size (100%).
Making an icon size graphic grow that large obviously
distorts too much, so I re-created the graphic as a
vector at the size I need at the end.

With the Grow/Shrink effect I can get it to shrink down
to the small size (and then reverse back up)but I can't
find a way to make it start at 3% and end at 100%.

Any thoughts?

I will add a formal link on my website a bit later, but if you use this link
to download a .PPT tutorial I just put together on how to figure Grow/Shrink
percentages it should help. I admit that I have a few flaws in formula as
the final result is a few pixels off, but it should get you 99% there.
(anybody that can figure out and more clearly explain, please email me and I
will update this into a formal tutorial).

Of, course the pixelization is a whole different subject...

To shrink to 3% of full size you need to multiply 100%(object's scale) x
3(zoom factor)
to grow that 3% back to 100 you need to multiply 3%(object's scale) x
3333(zoom factor)

So custom shrink the object to 3%, then custom grow the object to 3333%
