Groups of Word docs avalible in web - HOW

I'm very new to this. I have several years of news letters in WORD format that I would like to make avalible to club members. How do I do this

As go most things in compuing, you have several ways to
go.

1. the simpliest would be to:

a. upload these Word documents as Word file to a place on
your host,
b. create a page listing those documents,
c. allow the members to download these documents to their
computer.

Note: this would require that each person have a copy of
Word on their PC in order to view the files.

2. another option would be:

a. create a new page on your site for each document,
b. copy and paste each Word document into its own page

Note: this would not require each person to have Word on
their PC.

3. still another would be:

a. convert the Word documents into PDF format and upload
them to your host,
b. create a page listing those documents,
c. allow the members to download these documents to their
computer.

There are probably other options as well.

You'd have to create a password protected Subweb (if your host allows it), then put the word docs there with links to the files. This is, of course, assuming you what normal viewers to view the rest of the site - ie you don't want to password protect the main site right?

There are numerous threads on this subject on this ng...just scroll back a day or so. This question pops up almost every day in one form or the other.
