Grouping

Confused emailer

I am recieving emails and they seemed to be getting grouped by subject line
and place in an envelop looking thing that will have a + on it if something
has been added with the same subject line. The emails can be from totally
different people dealing with totally different things on different days. Is
there a way to stop this grouping of emails?
