Grouping by common bond

The data that has been imported into Access contains a list of vendors,
information and a code classification to ascertain what goods/services the
vendor provides.

The columns on the spreadsheet hold information for:

Vendor Number
Vendor Name
Amount spent
Number of Invoices
Type of Spend (Influenceable or Non)
Contracted Spend (Yes or No)

And then the classification codes:

Key
Code
Description

What we are trying to acheive is for a report to be generated for each code
to group the vendors and to give a total amount spent on that code.

I have tried a simplistic query and report, this has given a 200 page long
document with everything sorted by the code, whereas I would prefer seperate
pages for each code to aid in analsys at a later stage.

What is the best way of approaching this?

Thanks,

Use the Sorting and Grouping.
First group by Code, then by Vendor

To cause a page break for each code, create a group header and select force
new page in the group header properties.

Thanks very much, that has worked perfectly.
