Group policy

i have a domain setting up with AD users and domain policy.

now i wish to setup a few XP prof workstations out of this domain using
group policy.

how can i do it without setting up a domain controller? how to distribute
the policy.

as i remember, i did it in Windows 98 environment.

Tony,

Without Active Directory you can only use local policy on the machines. Once
created this is stored in the C:\Windows\System32\Group Policy folder which
could be distributed to the machines via script when local policy updates
are required, no great but workable.
