Group Policy settings not being applied

Hi,

I have configured our computer OU group policy to update the computers from
our internal windows update server. The group policies are not being
applied, when i schedule the computers to query the SUs it does not even
attempt to get any updates from it.

Anybody know why the GP might not be applying to the computers?

Could be a rights/permission issue. I have my GP set to
automatically download and install...it only seems to work
when I log on as an admin. Still looking for a more
concrete answer.
 
Only local Admin users are prompted for SUS updates; this
is by design (all these details are in the SUS deployment
guide).

Must admit, I have had a lot of problems, inconsistent
behaviour getting the GPO to work as well though.
