Group Policy not taking

I have an OU and I linked a group policy to that OU but it won't take any of
the settings. I have tried refreshing group policy, I ran gpresult and it
says it is getting the policy.

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas how to fix it? Anyone seen this before?

Thanks

Hi John

It may depend on which settings you've implemented. If they are Computer
Configuration settings, the computer account for the machine you're logging
onto needs to be in that OU. If they are User Configuration settings, the
user account must be in the OU.

If you run gpresult /z (Windows XP) or gpresult /v (Windows 2000), do you
see anything more specific?

Thanks, I believe the issue is my account is not in that OU. I am working on
getting a test account set up in that OU.

Thank You
