Group Policy Error

Help!!

I opened up Active Directory yesterday to make a couple of
changes to one of the policies therein and received the
following error.

___________________________________________________________

Group Policy Error

Failed to open the Group Policy Object. You may not have
the appropriate rights.

Details: Insufficient System Resources Exist to Perform
the Requested Service.
___________________________________________________________

I log on, naturally, as Administrator on the Server.
There have been no alterations to any settings within DNS
and I have tried to restore the SYSVOL folder from a
previous backup.

Any help in resolving this would be appreciated

have managed to resolve this issue thank you. I received
an email that suggested I create a new administrator
account and log on using that. I did but the new account
would not let me log on and an error message indicated
that I needed to "increase Registry size". I logged back
on as Administrator and changed the Regsitry size. I can
now access my AD Group Policies and make appropriate
changes.

thanks
