Grief with WMP

WMP comes up but is off the screen, out of sight, to the right. I've tried
System Restore. I've tried removing WMP and reinstalling it. Still the
same problem. My mouse (pointer) will also go way off to the right.
Pease help.

Rather than going through all of that, why not simply move the Media
Player Window to where you want it, and then exit it, thereby saving
that location into the registry? Press and release <ALT>+<SPACE> and
then press <M>. You can now use the cursor arrow keys to move the
display settings dialog window back to the desired location. When the
box is located where you want it, press <Enter>.

If your mouse point moves off-screen, it does so only because the
display also does so. What happens when you adjust the monitor's
horizontal centering and size controls?

Sounds like you have multiple monitors enabled
when you really have only one...and WMP is starting up
on the "virtual" monitor, off and to the right of your "real"
monitor.

Right click empty area of Desktop>>Settings

If you see two monitor images labeled 1 and 2, and one of them
is not grayed out, then you have multiple monitors enabled.

Right click # 2 and de-select Attached.
