Grid of Icons in desktop

S

Stephen

Hi ,
Could I ask can I set the length of space between Icons in my Windows Vista
desktop? I feel the Icons in my desktop is too close when I choose to
display the Icons in medium size. Is there way to set the Grid of the
desktop icons wider?
Any suggestions or solutions?

Nelson

Right click on desktop
View
Untick "Align to grid"

You should now be able to drag your icons to anywhere on the desktop

Hi Nelson
Go to Control Panel/Personalize/Windows Color and appearance/Open classic
appearance.../Advanced
then scroll down to icon spacing. Both horizontal and vertical are there.
Adjust as desired.
Good luck.
