Greyed-our checkboxes

On right-clicking my folders and selecting Properties, the following
checkboxes are greyed-out-

Allow scripts to be run option.
Allow anonymous upload to this directory.
Allow uploaded files to overwrite existing file names.

which isn't very helpful when you're trying to do file uploads.

Can anyone please help?

You must be logged on to server for that to be enabled.
