When I try to play a video on my XP Home machine (with SP1), the audio
works fine, but the video is this sort of greenish screen. Can
anybody help me get rid of it?

Ok, as a general solution, check your monitor cable on
the back of your PC, I get this problem sometimes, and
what program are you using? If it has the ability, try
changing the hue and the saturation in the program.

Sounds like a problem with XVID (mpeg4) Codec....Suggest you look in the
forums on website www.dvdrhelp.com for solution. This issue has been raised
many times.
