Grayed Out Wireless Access Window

Help!
Toshiba P25 S607
Orinoco/Proxim Silver B,G card


When I right click on the system tray wireless icon and select "VIEW
AVAILABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS," the resulting window is grayed out and I have
no access to the "ADVANCED TAB," or the "CONNECT" tab. It just started this
deviant behavior and I can find no conflicts or other indications in the Win
XP Pro "EVENT MANAGER" that would give me a clue. The wireless connection
is operating just fine but I need this access through this window.

Anyone have any ideas??

I just had a similar trouble and cured it by going to the CP clicking on
Admin Tools and selecting Services. Scroll down to Windows Zero config and
see if its disabled . If it is click to auto and start.

Cured my problem.
