Gray Background

This is what you have told the browser to do -

<body background="_themes/blends/blegtext.gif" bgcolor="#CCCCCC"

Since you are using a theme, you might have a hard time changing that
directly (you may need to edit the theme itself), but you can try just
removing that bgcolor="#CCCCCC" from the body tag of your pages first.

Murry: Thanks for your help. I show four "_border" files on my PC---two
that have a dimmed appearance. I went through all four, top and left
borders and don't see where that code appears. Where else should I be
looking? Again, thanks much.

To remove the grey background you must edit the theme.
In FP2003:
Format ->Theme - Click on theme and choose Customize from the
dropdown.
and edit the Colors - Custom tag - Background

Ron: In FP2002 I went: Format>Theme>Modify>Colors. I picked both Body and
Background and neither seemed to change. I noted the Background Picture Box
was checked below Active Graphics. I'm still lost and I appreciate the
help!

Hey Guys. That was the key---I had to save it as a different theme! I
applied it to all the pages and did not really "remove" the old theme (I
think it is automatic with a theme change) but all seems well. I didn't
realize that I had to designate "vivid colors" to get the white background
with the custom "Blend" theme. What does "apply using CCS" mean? Again,
thanks to all for all of the help!!!!!!!!! http://home.att.net/~mdmm
