Just found this:

Graxobolt
Graxobolt is a standalone freeware mediaplayer, that has some nice
features, like an equalizer, digital zoom, adjust brightness and contrast,
pitch shifting and scaling, snapshot, full screen, plays about every format
you have codecs for including DivX, XviD, ogm, mpeg1,2,3,4 , mp3.
Can be run from floppy.
Download is a 572 Kb beta4 zip version. Workes perfect so far on my
win98SE. The screenshot on the webpage lacks to show all the features.

Uh, me neither, still works here perfectly. IIRC you're running XP. Should
work there.
Just decided to keep it instead of Media Player Classic. Loads much faster
with more features.
