Just love this program. So much easier than XNews ... and,
it deals with yEnc files.

Just one irritant, though. HOW does one set an option to
display all newgroups in collapsed-thread mode upon first
execution? I don't want to hit CTRL-T everytime I go to a
newsgroup .. I want it collapsed automatically when Gravity
starts up.

From the toolbar, click View, Global Options, Display tab and uncheck
the 'threads begin collapsed' box.

I agree EXCEPT for its inability to show different servers in the same
window.
I am playing with XanaNews, which looks similar, works similar, but
still has a few failings.

You are certainly free to love whatever newsreader you like, but I would
just like to say that XNews has no problems with yEnc files. It can decode
and show inline JPGs (if they are not multipart) and download and decode all
yEnc files correctly. There was a period when a version of ZA firewall
caused problems with yEnc files in many newsreaders, not just XNews, but
that has since been corrected.
