graphics conversion filter

Does anyone know what this is? when I tried to open a
downloaded document, it said it was unable to access the
graphics conversion filter.

The file may not be an actual DOC file, it may be a graphics file renamed as
a doc file or a virus - be wary!. You don't mention what you are trying to
open the file with or what the file's extension is. So I'm only guessing.
