Graphics Compression in Powerpoint

Is there a version of PowerPoint for PCs (not MAC) that
will compress the size of graphics in the presentation for
the entire presentation, thereby reducing the file size?

There sure is. Both PPT 2002 (XP) and 2003 allow you to do this. Right click
a picture, select Format Picture. On the Picture tab you will see a Compress
button. Click it. The first pair of choices are this picture or all
pictures.

(If this doesn't seem to be working, make sure you have Fast Saves turned
off. If you don't, reducing the picture size won't affect the size of the
presentation file.)
