Graphic for Report logo

S

SAC

I have a logo sent to me for use in a report header. It's way too big.
It's a jpg that's 1200 X 200.

What do I need to do to make it smaller? Get photoshop or some graphic
editing program?

How would I know what size to make it? Trial and error?

Thanks for your help.

You really should uyse a good graphics programme but if you don't have one -
don't go and buy one just for this.

1st COPY THE GRAPHIC just in case
Next open explorer and slect the graphic (right click)
Select open with Office Picture Manager
Select Edit Picture icon
Resize to what you want

DON'T work on the orignal - just in case

SAC,
There are many freeware picture editing programs, or viewers out on the
web.
A simple program is XnView, which allows for "simple" editing such as
size, flip, rotate, etc...
A full featured editing program is Paint.net.

I've always found SnapFiles.com a great resource for ShareWare/Freeware
applications.

And yes, you will have to try a few resizes before you find one that
suits your report layout.
