do u think it good for play shooting game?

Thanks for ans.

Hi, any graphics card will work with any chipset, no one is 'better' than
the other. Your present card should be ok but you need to look at the specs
required for that particular game...

Not so.. BioStar's XGP technology precludes the use of many video cards..
fortunately, they provide a list of cards that are known to work..
unfortunately, they hide the info deep in their website..

Hi Mike, is that within the chipset? The original poster question was what
card to use with which chipset not a mention about which motherboard....

From my findings recently, it is not just a question of compatible
chipsets.. XGP technology is supposed to enhance AGP, but I find it
difficult to see any enhancement if only certain graphics cards are
compatible.. my initial assumption was that the video card didn't like Via
chipsets until I looked further..

Re. the OP question, it is probably true that NVIDIA cards are more likely
to feel at home on their 'own' boards.. it would appear that the quest for
outright performance is producing breeds of hardware that are no longer
compatible in the true spirit of the IBM clone.. I don't see this as
advancement necessarily..

Hi again Mike, if it's true that the achitecture of a motherboard isn't
going to be in the spirit of a IBM compatible then I can see many problems
not just with PC builders. One being graphic card manufacturers pressurising
mobo manufacturers into enhancing, or even indeed making their products
incompatible rival cards, just to make their products look good, that's if
it isn't happening already.
Perhaps a discussion to come back to in the future.....

I would put money on it.. one has to wonder how much the graphics card
manufacturers influence game authors to optimise a game for a specific video
card.. it's nothing new of course, but much more prevalent these days..

I was asked recently to build a system around a specific video card.. que?..
it was tougher than one might imagine, taking into consideration the amount
of money at the customers disposal.. it was during this 'job' that I
discovered incompatibility issues with XGP..

Hi, not forgetting 'optimised' graphics benchmark software we've already had
that favours one manufacturers card over another......
