Granting edit permission on office online shared calendar

My assistant, secretary and myself share calendars in MS Outlook 2007 through
MS Office Online. My assistant has rights to modify my calendar but when I
setup my secretary the other day, she is unable to add appointments to my
calendar and she gets a message saying that the folder is read only. I set
them up the same way. My assistant has been modifying my calendar for
months. Is this service not available on new Office Online Accounts?

Are you sure you are using office online for the assistant? The calendar at
office.com is not editable, except by the calendar owner. Live calendars are
editable by people you share with.
