Gpresult standalone XP machine local security policy not applied

I am trying to audit the local security policy on a standalone Windows
XP SP2 workstation with gpresult and I am receiving the following
below. I'd really appreciate it if someone can point me in the right
direction. I have to be able to output these settings to a text file
and if I can't see the policy being applied, its obviously not going
to do me any good.

Is it not the case that in this instance nothing is shown because the
policy is empty. You'd get similar results if the local policy was
disabled, but it would say "Filtering: Disabled" instead.

Try making a change to a local policy which is displaying the message
and try again.

Also, use /v or /z with gpresult to get more detailed information.
