GPO HELP NEEDED

Hi
We have 2000 DCand ADC and lots of GP defined currently we are having issues
with opeining one of our GP object when we try to open it gives an error
failed to open group policy object.you may not have appropriate rights and in
details pane give unspecified error...

Can any one please help me out at the earliest

What do you mean by 'difficulty opening' Does that mean that this one GPO
is not being applied - either to the user configuration side or to the
computer configuration side.

Or, does it mean that you are having a difficult time opening it to edit it.

Have you checked the security on it.....

there is a problem opening a GPO for editing security is check and it's
perfectly fine only thing is a concern is thruogh gpmc there is error on this
GP it syas registry.pol is not in a valid formaT...

cAN U SUGGEST SOEM ACTION ON THIS

Did you backup your GPOs? If so, you can restore this one from backup.
