GP OU

I can't get my head around this one....
I am testing MS SUS server and I added to template to a test Group Policy, I
then selected the test OU with a test user in it and added the Group policy
to it - the problem is it does not take effect - It does seem to work
however, when I edit the group policy and it's security properties and then
a Test Security group (with a security user)???

Anyone know why I can't roll this out to an OU?

Wouldn't SUS have to be computer based? I put Computers in OUs and was able
to deploy it just fine.

I have no experience with sus.
but what I read about it is that you can try to fill in the ip adress of
your sus server instead of the hostname. of the otherway around, the
hostname instead of the ipadres.
