Go to local hardware or TV retailer, and ask for S-Video cable. It should
have single round, yellow connects (with 6-7 pins) on each end. Most Tv's
have svideo inputs, look for small rounded input (quite like ps/2 connection
on pc). Consult tv manual if in doubt.
Svideo gives best quality VS using S-video to rca converters.

Hi Asestar

I have nothing that looks like a ps2 connector on my actual tv just a yellow
phono type connector that says "video" presumed that this is s-video? next
to video connector are 2 audio inputs L and R.

Can you help?

Cheers.

Yepp, i can help. :) You do NOT have s-video input on tv. That yellow input
on tv has metal on sides and 1 hole in middle? That's called RCA (or analog
input, i think).
You need 2 things now. Both should be cheap, around 10-15euro total . you
need svideo-rca converter, and rca-rca extension cable. (or a long 1-2 meter
cable with Svideo and RCA connection, bit hard to find).
Good luck, let me know how it went
