Google tries again to extend its free services. The Google Notebook
extension apparently competes with some Firefox extensions and social
bookmarking programmesas it allows to publish your collection of saved
content :

Downloading this extension gives you access to the mini Google Notebook
feature, which allows you to:

* Clip and collect information as you surf the web.
* Stay in your browser window.
* Organize your notes from the web page you're on.

and all your notes will be kept by Google forever to be used for
whatever purposes..... Brave New Googleworld !

This is what social bookmarking is about, too. If you go public you are
traced.

System requirements:
IE6 or Firefox, XP.

Tried it with Opera without success.
