For a beginner programmer, what books would you recommend ?
Thank you
Steve

That depends on your ability really. I would suggest that you look at
www.amazon.com and read the book reviews by people who but them. They also
give descriptions of the books and their suitability.

Steve,

I purchased the Microsoft Visual Basic .NET Step By Step book by Michael
Halvorson (the 2002 edition). For $100 it gives you VB .NET Standard
Edition. I thought it was excellent.
