After installing Microsoft Golf99 from OEM game CD I
click on icon and receive error message "Microsoft Golf
98 has encountered a problem, etc. I am running Win XP
pro, w/ directX 9.0, have tried uninstall/reinstall
several times. Why do I get a Golf 98 error when
installing Golf99. What should I do???

Have you tried using Compatibility Mode on the game (perhaps even the
install)? I don't know about the 98 message.
