I'm running Outlook 2003 and Vista Business Premium on a stand alone PC. I'm
going on holiday and would like to leave my PC in sleep mode but get it to
wake up once each day to download e-mails to prevent my mailbox filling up
and then to go back to sleep again. Can this be done? Icing on the cake would
be to be able to send an automated 'out of office reply' - my ISP cannot do
this for me.
Simple instructions please.
Many thanks
Glyn

If you want Outlook to gather your mail while you're gone and send autoreplies with a rule, you'll need to leave the computer running, not put it in sleep mode.
